My background is in nursing and I have taught Yoga classes in: mental health day hospitals, for cancer support groups, in nursing homes and schools along with running adult yoga classes and workshops. I have and extensive background and varied experience in teaching yoga for health. I Trained in 1986 with the yoga for health foundation, Ickwell bury. Learnt Ashtanga vinyasa in the '90's and taught this in Warwickshire at primary series level'til 2000
In 2001 I emigrated to Nelson bays in New Zealand. My passion here was facilitating yoga workshops in beautiful places and sailing around the coastline of the Abel Tasman national park.
During this period 2005/06 I trained with Joseph and Lillian Le Page initially doing their intensive home study course and then joined them in Brazil and California on their yoga therapy and foundation course. It was an amazingly expansive experience giving me many tools to use therapaeutically in Yoga.
