I started practising yoga in 1988 while a student at New York University. My main teachers are Dharma Mittra's (famous for the poster of 908 poses and for his 50 years dedicated to teaching yoga) and the senior teaching staff at the Himalayan Institute. In 1998 I completed the 200 hour Teaching Certification course at the Himalayan Institute headquarters in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. I did some student teaching in NYC after that, then taught in Leith, Edinburgh and I currently reside and teach in Rugby, Warwickshire. I trained for perinatal yoga with Birthlight in 2010 and 2011. In 2012 I am studying for my advanced postnatal certificate with Birthlight. I teach mixed level drop in Hatha classes, beginner courses and Birthlight pregnancy yoga classes.
