Registered Yoga Schools (RYS)
Registered Yoga Schools have reached high standards in teacher training
To achieve RYS status you have to demonstrate considerable teaching experience and show that your course meets the minimum standards.
You can register a school at the RYS200 level and in addition have Children's Yoga and Pregnancy Yoga accredited within your school. If you are not conducting RYS200 courses but wish to train teachers for Children's Yoga or Pregnancy Yoga, you can apply to have these accredited as stand alone courses.
Alternatively you may wish to register your school at the RYS 500 level.
Please click on the on the accreditation level you are interested in, read the guidelines, and download the relevant application form.
On acceptance your school can use the RYS trademark and logo to show the public you are accredited by Yoga Alliance UK. The RYS mark is recognised worldwide as a sign of excellence in training courses.
Once your course is registered then your graduates automatically qualify for acceptance into Yoga Alliance UK and for insurance. They will also pay a reduced fee in the first year.
You can then advertise and promote your Teacher Training Courses, events, workshops and CPDs on the Yoga Alliance UK website.
