Founded in February 2004, the centre has gone from strength to strength attracting students from all over Leeds and West Yorkshire. The first and only dedicated yoga centre in Leeds, the Yoga Space is located in a former Baptist chapel. The Space is tranquil, warm, welcoming and offers a peaceful haven for its students. All of our teachers are trained to a very high standard and between them have many years of both practicing Yoga and teaching it.
We offer early morning, daytime, evening and weekend classes seven days a week, 49 weeks a year as well as regular workshops from visiting practitioners from the UK, Europe and the States. We are now in our third year of hosting Union Yoga teacher training with Brian Cooper www.unionyogateachertraining.co.uk . We are also an approved training provider for Leeds Education providing Yogi Bears and Yoga Kids training for primary school teachers based in Leeds.
On site we offer Thai massage, oil massage, Reiki, sports massage and Shiatsu.
The main hall is also available to hire for workshops, training events and kids' parties.
