Teacher Details

Hi my name is Ali. I was fortunate to have had my first real experience of yoga in Koh Samui, Thailand.. the class was so different to any that I had previously tried, slow but wow could I feel it... as the weeks progressed I could feel the benefits, but I still missed the output of energy that I had been used to in the UK.. Then I found HOTYOGA... 90 mins that would just fly by... a good use of my energy to give me back a better energy..know that is kinda cool... the focus that we had and the warmth in the room, not just the heat but from the friends practising around us..a real community.. miles away from my home country, different languages but joined with ease by our passion for yoga.
I was totally smitten with the whole practise and when the opportunity presented itself, enrolled on the the teacher training course... a whole month away from my family ( well I had visits ) but the universe delivered me this opportunity at a tough time... I successfully completed the course :)
I am proud to report that I covered some classes for Absoluteyoga in Koh Samui..

I am now in the UK, and although I miss the hot room, I am teaching at a local health club.. we work through asana's, letting the breath dictate how far we are ready to go.. with open hearts, a steady breath, mindfulness and the joy of smiling, laughter.. we are all at home...
