Amir MojarradRegistered Yoga Teacher (RYT200) London England
![]()
Having previously been engaged in disciplines such as Qigong , Tai Chi and Kabbalah, I found my true path in the form of Kundalini Yoga in the year 2003 and been a Kundalini Yoga teacher since 2006. I was taught by Ravi Singh and Ana Brett who are highly regarded Kundalini Yoga teachers in the US.
I have a distinct down to earth approach to teaching which helps the student feel comfortable and involved in their own progress and body awareness as well as demystifying concepts in spirituality making them accessible to all. My classes are very flowing and are a combination of movements, breathing techniques, mantras and meditation. History: Back in year 2003 I started having health issues relating to my skin. Psoriasis. This led me down to many paths in search of a cure. I was living in Amsterdam at the time. One option for me was to learn how to prepare raw food and I was introduced to a couple that were teaching this. They were both in their 50s and looked incredibly healthy. I went there for a visit and was welcomed openly into their home and after a while the man, Anil said, you know that raw food alone can't heal you. you need also to do yoga. and his vitality and big shinning smile was an invitation that I could not refuse. I started doing yoga in their house on spring solstice 2003. I remember distinctly the ray of sunshine coming through their window and lightening up the room and my heart. That is how I began my journey into the world of yoga and Kundalini yoga specifically. I took the teacher training course and by 2006 I became a certified Kundalini yoga teacher and received my certificate from Yoga Alliance. I was taught by Ravi Singh and Ana Brett who are very prominent yoga teachers in the US. In regards to psoriasis and raw food. I am no longer fully raw and I have managed to control and reduce my psoriasis greatly, thanks to a combination of diet and supplements and internal cleansing and of course yoga. I have narrowed down the problem to candida and toxins in the liver. I am very happy to share my insights into this with anyone who needs advice and guidance in relation to this condition. In short I can tell you that there is HOPE.
