Angelique LucasRegistered Yoga Teacher (RYT200) London United Kingdom

My yoga journey started when I was a young child as a dancer. Although not labelled as yoga, most of the warming up we did for ballet classes were asanas I teach today. I have been teaching since early 2010 throughout London and the east coast of the US. I was trained under Fiona Kaczmarczyk's QiYoga® which is a fusion of Indian Hatha yoga and Chinese, Korean, and Tibetan Qi Gong (Chi gung) which is a very energizing and healing form of yoga. I specialise in healing and alleviating symptoms for a number of ailments such as Asthma, Sciatica, Back Pain, Stress, High & Low Blook Pressure, Osteoarthritis, Knee Injuries, Weight Fluctuation, Stress Management, Subfertility, and much more.
In February 2011 I decided to rediscover yoga and set out to find a form that was right for me. I took all the yoga classes my local gym offered and to my amazement it was in the Sunday morning 9am QiYoga® Beginner's class where I found the most peace and happiness and in spite of the early weekend morning, I loved it. Going to that class every week really helped me to feel energised and calm when I needed to be and I found that Sundays (and my weeks which followed) weren't the same if I didn’t start with my QiYoga® fix. It was the time outside my yoga classes where I saw the most beneficial improvements. I was able to get more done and go to sleep when I was tired but more amazingly, I began to have a much more positive outlook on life (as yoga will do) and I hooked. Very early on I found myself explaining the aspects of a QiYoga® class to anyone who would listen as I wanted to shout the benefits of this style of yoga from the rooftops and get everyone involved. I focus on healing little aches and pains to a happy head and heart with an emphasis on meditation. Give me a shout and let me know how I can help.
