Teacher Details

As a primary school teacher, I have always enjoyed teaching movement and physical activities, and noticing their impact on children and their well being.
In 2011 my long-held dream of training to teach yoga became a reality when I travelled to the Pacific coast of Costa Rica and trained at the Nosara Yoga Institute, under the expert guidance of the directors Don and Amba Stapleton. Now I am focusing on teaching my Inter-Disciplinary approach to yoga with adults, and since training in the Yoga Bananas Technique in early 2012, I intend to take yoga into as many primary schools in the area as I can!

At home in North Devon, the sunshine and 'pura vida' from my Costa Rica experience remains at the heart of my teaching; whether I'm working with adults or children, beginners or more experienced practitioners, my intention is to enable everyone to enjoy their bodies through self-acceptance, through awareness of breath, through movement and through stillness.
