I started practicing Yoga in 2001 with mark Freeth, and went on to serve an apprenticeship with mark over a 5 year period, eventually taking over Marks classes when he left the area. I continued my studies with various teachers over the years attending many workshops and completed David Swensons TT in 2006; Anne Marie Newlands YA 200hr course in 2008, I am now registered with YAUK at Senior Teacher level, I continue my studies of Astanga vinyasa with Manu Rossi of Ashtanga Oxford.
I Practise Ashtanga vinyasa and still feel completely inspired by this life changing system, the practice remains the inspiration for my teaching, I've recently started to teach Vinyasa flo classes based on the Ashtanga system but with varied sequences.
In 2009 I opened Stonemonkey Yoga studio & cafe in Leamington spa, where I am director and principle teacher, we offer classes for all levels in Ashtanga, Mysore self practice, Vinyasa, Hatha, Childrens Yoga, pregnancy & Baby Yoga, beginners courses, all our teachers offer 1 to 1 classes. We also host workshops with inspirational teachers.
