I discovered yoga 3 years ago, surprised that it was very accessible as an exercise. I decided to develop her understanding of yoga and Irealised that it was a very effective weight loss, stress and fitness routine. In 2011 I quit the city and successfully completed 200 hr RYT qualification through Yoga London. I believe that Yoga is an active practise that brings quietness to the mind and body, a balm that helps to alleviate everyday stresses and strains. It actively challenges and builds your mind and body strengths. A holistic experience; atypical in Western tradition where mental and physical activities are kept distinct. You can, for example, be an excellent athlete, but poor scholar and vice versa. Yoga welds these two aspects simultaneously into an all encompassing dynamic force. I teach yoga in a playful and accessible way, incorporating humour, I believe yoga is for everyone and can be used to improve core strength, stability and balance as well as to quiet the mind.
