Teacher Details

Hello, my name is Laurie and I am an American who has been living in the UK for twenty years. However, I still have family and strong ties in the US, and so completed my yoga training in United States. I have been practicing yoga for the last three decades. Two years ago I suffered a back injury, and it was my yoga practice which sustained my recovery and gave me the inner strength and peace to keep moving forward, as well as the grace to accept my limitations. My yoga classes are inclusive and happy environments where our differences are valued and our similarities are celebrated.
In my life outside my yoga practice, I teach English as a Foreign Language at a College of Further Education. I am married with an 18 year old son, and now call North Yorkshire my home.
