About Sonia
Sonia Doubell began teaching yoga in 2004. Her yoga style can be described as a slow to mid-paced practice blending Yin and Yang style Yoga sequences. This practice works deeply into the joints, connective tissues and fascia,freeing the body from tension and stress. It also stimulates the Meridians Pathways within the body to restore vitality. Sonia’s influences have come from many schools of yoga some through direct study and others through practice. These include Anusara,Yin Yoga, Iyengar, Jivamukti, Living Yoga, Kundalini, all have enriched her Yoga teaching. She has blended and weaved the art of yoga, mind and philosophy as she feels that the journey to self-realization, inner awareness and personal awakening is born from three ingredients: Mind- a conscious awareness of thought Body- a healthy body and a dedicated yoga practice Heart- Loving, kind and Open. As a teacher my passion is to help you discover how you can heal your life, not just your physical body but all of you!
