Stuart has practised Yoga for over 20 years. He began studying Yoga due to a severe back, neck and shoulder problem resulting in scoliosis caused by a near fatal car accident. After completely curing his spinal problem he is now a devoted teacher with 17 years experience, and has taught over several thousand students in England, Europe and India.
His teachers include Pattabhi Jois of Mysore India (founder of Astanga Yoga back in 1930 where he still teaches today!), Sharath Ranagaswamy (grandson of Gurugi), Gingi Lee (Sangam Yoga London), Naranni (direct student of Sivananda), Richard Wald (direct student of BKS Iyengar).
Stuart also teaches aspects of philosophy, anthropology and theology. He now has his own dynamic yoga studio serving the Brighton & Hove area.
