Union Yoga Training was the first teacher training offered in the UK based on Astanga Yoga, and has set the standard for in depth quality training ever since.
The courses were originally taught at Union Yoga in Edinburgh, and at the Yoga Space in Leeds as well as in France. Many of today's yoga teachers have trained with Union Yoga and opened their own centres.
The non-residential lasts approx one year, with a one week intensive induction followed by six weekends. For exact dates see under the specific location.
The residential is a fully residential 3 week intensive.
Both courses have comprehensive training manuals and dedicated web access to teaching files, tutorials and homework.
You will also be expected to observe in classes during or after the course.
You are assigned a mentor on the non-residential courses to help and support you in your training.
The course is based on the Primary Series of Astanga yoga, and also covers a wide range of general yoga topics
